I accidently fed a stray kitten spoiled cat food, today I saw it passed away on the road, I've been feeling awful since.
It is not your fault. You didn't know. And you don't know the food is what ended the kitty's life. Perhaps it was already sick. Perhaps feeding the cat was the only act of love and mercy it ever knew in its short life. Do not blame yourself.
It hurts losing an animal, but did you ever think that it might not have been the food that you fed him, but could have been hit by a vehicle instead? I know its hard, but the pain will fade, and its not your fault.
